    Who Is Going, Gone, Tonight

Oh down to three... who will it be?!?!

    Who is going home?

Who is going all the way?

If your favorite designer is no longer in the running. Tells us who they were and why they were your favorite.

Let's not forget the carpenters. Who is your favorite carpenter?

Andrea is leaving and Sarah is the best carpenter.

I agree - I think Andrea's done for... However, while I agree that Sarah is pretty nifty, we mustn't forget Jared... sigh...

Ah, Jared. Be still my beating heart. I miss Erik. And Goil. And MICHAEL (dahling!).

Who's going next? It shouldn't be Andrea, but it will be. Ah. I've been known to be wrong before!

Ed is the number one carpenter. Even injured, he pulled off the work necessary to make Matt have the Top Design.

I think Ed is pretty great.I wonder if left to his own devices would he have gone to the hospital, or just stapled himself back together and kept going. No way production company insurance would allow that, but my guy friends who do carpentry/construction tend to shrug off injuries like that. It's a macho thing. I like it!

I wish Erik had been able to show more. And Heather and Elizabeth, but no way of knowing with them, they left so early. I've never felt the love for Andrea. Her work is so... beige...

My own design style is somewhere between Matt's and Carisa's . Mature traditional elegance of Matt's with colorful exuberance (when the client allows) of Carisa. So I hope it's them in the finals.

I hope that next season the first challenge is an individual one -- if Heather had stayed on the competition would have been soooo different.... also would have been nice to have Elizabeth on longer. Does it seem to anyone else that the winner has already been annointed by the judges?

Anon at 8:01 - One thing to remember is that the winner was selected prior to the producers actually editing the show. They go through and film all the challenges and get to a winner (presumably in this case), and then the producer/editor's go in and create the "show" around the charachters that have developed. I've also wondered if they haven't gone back in and done some re-edits based on audience reaction to the shows. But the audience reactions couldn't have had any effect on the outcome of the winners.

And yes, if there is a season 2, I too would like to see an individual challenge in Ep.1 so we can gage each designer. The first episode also needs to be 2 hours long - or span over 2 weeks. I think they should do fewer challenges with more people let go per challenge. So, in 10 episodes, if they did 7 or 8 challenges, we'd see better work and more detailed levels of judging.

It looks like Carisa wins tonight (thanks Bravo for once again spoiling your show) so it better be Andrea leaving.

Ryan and Goil were kept on too long and neither one of them are desigers. Ryan just sucks whereas Goil is more of an architect and he kept doing the same thing and it was clear early on that he wasn't going to change.

Heather and Elizabeth were kicked off too early. We really didn't see what Heather could do. I would have liked to have seen Elizabeth design the Bacardi party.

I expected Erik to be in the final. I wanted him to win. He was talented but he also was the right kind of person to win. He is just such a great guy. Plus Erik is in the early-ish stages of starting his own business so he is the one who could put the money to the best use.

I'll be happy if Matt wins however. I have consistantly been amazed by his rooms. They are always lovely. And he's brilliant with color.

Sarah has had to put up with both Goil and Carisa. The fact that she has done with without strangling them -- let alone without even raising her voice -- should make her a candidate for sainthood.

It makes me really sad that it looks like Carissa wins tonight. I think that anything but a Matt v. Andrea finale is an atrocity. They've been the two most consistently good since day one, and have exhibited professionalism (with only a few minor slip-ups) since the beginning.

Since Jonathon Adler's colors follow what Carisa's been doing I think she is going to win the whole thing. Deserve to win? I don't know. Seems like the same thing week to week. I hope that Matt a least makes it the final 2.

I think Andrea's going tonight. Margaret loves Matt and Adler loves Carisa.

Also, who's the guest judge? How great would it be if, because it's more Elle, we had NeenaGahciaFashionDirectorofElleMagazine (I know she's fashion, and this is Elle Decor, but they did a Top Chef tie in, so why not a PR one? It would certainly boost ratings...)

Anon 2:18, you certainly nailed it. Make someone give you a T-shirt, like the ProjectBoys do. :D

What I want to know is, given the fact that you are right, who has more clout - Jonathan, or Margaret? Or will it come down to whom Kelly hates most?

Ed is hot. And extremely competent. I would give him many jobs.

    Hee.
